Analysis and Verification of Operating Characteristics of Grid and Hybrid Inverters
Vrána, Michal ; Braciník,, Peter (referee) ; Dvorský, Emil (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
The thesis is an annotated collection of articles focused on the field of verification of inverter operating characteristics and their impact on the operation of the distribution system. The operating characteristics are assessed with respect to the national requirements in the Czech Republic. Within the framework of the solution, articles were published in foreign impacted and peer-reviewed journals and indexed proceedings of foreign and domestic conferences. The main result of the dissertation is the design and implementation of a laboratory workplace for verification of operating characteristics. For the workstation, software equipment was designed and implemented for testing process automation of both, the physical workstation and the virtual testing. By reconfiguring the workstation, it is possible to create a facility for simulating and verifying the effect of autonomous functions on the distribution system within the framework of experimental installation in laboratory conditions or field testing.
Electromobility, today and vision
Valíček, Roman ; Kracík, Petr (referee) ; Milčák, Pavel (advisor)
The main target of this bachelor thesis is to create an overview of current and future status of electromobility in the Czech Republic, including an analysis of possible impacts of this developing field to other sectors, especially energy industry and ecology. This work is divided into several sections. The first part is research and it deals with general knowledge related to electromobility at first and then it analyzes the current situation in our country. The electric vehicle charging and electromobility support are discussed in detail. The second part of the thesis focuses on the influence of electromobility growth on the power system and on the electromobile emission footprint. These chapters are based on self calculations and the results are evaluated at the end. The conclusion summarizes the findings and there is a comment about upcoming development of electromobility in the future.
The voltage restoration in Prostějov and Zlín distribution area
Wasserbauer, Vojtěch ; Vaculík, Petr (referee) ; Toman, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is description of critical situations in the electrical grid and the consequences which can be caused by these situations. Further possibilities of voltage recovery and ways how to reach the needed voltage are described. Another part is firstly about regulation electrical system and resources which are connected to this system. Secondly there is appraisal of possibility of connection new resource into distribution system 110 kV and conditions of connection new resources. The result of the thesis is description voltage recovery and the rules which have to be kept during critical situations.
Steady state and short-circuit conditions in 110kV E.ON network fed from Sokolnice transformer station
Vyčítal, Václav ; Rampl, Martin (referee) ; Blažek, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis can be divided into five main parts. The first part deals with theoretical analysis of power flow calculation in power network during steady state condition. Load flow calculation is presented here as a linear and nonlinear problem. Newton iteration method is proposed for solving power flow as nonlinear problem. The second part of this thesis deals with the analysis of short-circuit calculation in accordance with valid International Standard IEC 60909. The equivalent voltage source method is adopted in case of the short-circuit calculation. For the calculation of unbalanced short-circuit currents, the symmetrical components method is also presented. The last three parts of this paper are focused on calculations of power flow and short-circuit conditions in power grid Sokolnice. So in the third part is the description of nodal area Sokolnice with its substations and the calculation of load flow and short-circuit conditions for two different power supply options. For each supply option is also considered an abnormal (fault) grid condition. (overall there are solved four different options) The fourth part of this thesis deals with the result analysis and also the results of different power supply options are compared. In the last part there are presented necessary technical improvements for fault-free operation of power grid Sokolnice based on the result of power flow and short-circuit conditions in that grid.
Program for the calculation of short - circuit conditions in a power system
Bucholcer, Oto ; Václavík, Vlastimil (referee) ; Blažek, Vladimír (advisor)
This master's thesis consists of three parts. The theoretical part deals with short-circuit conditions in the electricity supply system and with the method of their calculation. The practical part includes the programming process of a programme; description of programme properties and functionality. The third part contains the verification of an accurate programme calculation of the examples.
Design of the expansion of 22 kV distribution network in a specific part of the city of Brno
Lakomý, Vojtěch ; Nepevná, Vlastimila (referee) ; Blažek, Vladimír (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to design measures of the distribution network in Brno to ensure a supply of electricity to its consumers in required quantity, quality and reliability. This project will be solved in the program called PAS DAISY Off-Line v.4.00 Bizon. At first we make an analysis of the steady state of the distribution network. We check load of transformer stations 110/22 kV, overhead and cable lines if they operate in allowed limits. Then we complete or correct reserved power drains of big consumers of electricity in the model of distribution system. From the calculation of the steady state of the distribution network we will probably find out that some parts of the system are overloaded. Therefore we suggest changes for it (like switching over circuits, installation of new transformer stations and circuits), which should ensure safety and reliability of operations in the distribution system.
The Impact of Media on Consumer Behaviour in the Energy Sector
Sedláček, Štěpán ; Hála, Tomáš (referee) ; Langerová, Petra (referee) ; Šedrlová, Magdalena (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the aspects that prevent or allow the integration of the principles of social networks into the system of smart meters as well as the study of their potential and possibilities of implementation. The issue of how the future smart grid consumer will benefit from the future smart city grid services are hot topics. Here, a survey is presented that focuses on these aspects. An analysis of the survey results and key messages identifies view of the people on the topic and proposes directions that may be followed when designing applications and services of residential smart city consumers.
Bucket rotating storage machine
Otradovský, Tomáš ; Škopán, Miroslav (referee) ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (advisor)
In this bachelor thesis is designed structural resolution of circular shelf container as container of aluminious bars material. The bachelor thesis contains basic functional calculations, design of kinematics of material in container. Then it contains calculation requiring of achievement gearing, design of breaking and driving system. The components which are these systems made up from are chosen from catalogues of companies, which are produced. Part of the thesis is control of this systems

In the second part this work focuses on description of selected components of the power system and their real parameters. Furthermore the work also touches on the matter of electromobility and battery energy storage systems. In the last part of this work a few simple methods of consumption estimation are presented. This work also includes two infografics, that describe the power system.
Statistical evaluation of distribution supply continuity in given part of distribution network
Milka, Jiří ; Skala, Petr (referee) ; Blažek, Vladimír (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the statistical analysis of the continuity of power distribution in a specified part of the distribution network. Its aim is to explain the basic concepts and calculations in reliability distribution of electrical energy, which is an essential element for improving the quality of electricity supplied to end customers. The work is divided into two parts (theoretical part and a practical part), which are further divided into chapters and subchapters according to individual areas of focus. In the introduction the explains the aim and content of the of chapters work. You are also given a specific issue and its explanation. The conclusion summarizes the results of the practical part. The work is supplemented by annexes a list of images, tables, symbols and abbreviations that are used for better clarity and orientation.
